The environment felt calm, private, and supportive, and it was clear that the entire team genuinely cares about helping patients. Dr. Silverstone met with me privately and spoke with remarkable understanding and reassurance. During the ketamine infusion he gently asked me to say my dog’s name and call her as I normally would. At first the tears came immediately and uncontrollably, just as they always had. Then something remarkable happened. As the ketamine began to take effect, the emotional pain suddenly disappeared. The pain was absolutely gone! When he asked me to call her again, I could say “Here, Corpuscle” and think about her without tears or distress. My brain had stopped using the reflexive pathways that triggered the grief and had reset to a healthier way of processing the fact that my little dog was going to die. It was OK though, because it’s the natural history of life When the session ended, I felt calm, clear, and at peace. As both a physician and a patient, it was one of the most profound therapeutic experiences I have ever experienced personally and as a practicing emergency medicine physician. Dr. Silverstone is an extraordinary doctor and human being. In my opinion, he is an angel masquerading as a human. From a clinical perspective, the change in my emotional response during treatment was immediate, clear, unmistakable, and persistent. As physicians, we are trained to recognize meaningful clinical effects when we see them; and the effects of Dr. Silverstone’s were profound. If you are carrying a heavy emotional burden, and experiencing grief or other psychological condition, I strongly encourage you to speak with Dr. Silverstone. Everything feels so pure, so clean,the natural light come true the big windows, the outside view is beautiful and inspiring, combined that with a lovely melody playing in the background , Seriously is a religious experience,is like you arrive to heaven,on top of that add the lovely treatment of Victoria and Sorielle at the front desk, Dr.Silverstone is so knowledgeable, so comprehensive, such a good person you can feel that he cares about others wellbeing and last but not least the ketamine treatment is such an amazing, unique and magical soul healing experience I recommend it to anybody that suffers from depression or any type of trauma.
